Web & Digital Marketing Manager at DocuSign

The Web & Digital Marketing Manager will play a key role in supporting DocuSign’s global growth and marketing strategies in EMEA. The position will focus on optimizing DocuSign’s regional website presence and coordinating, developing, and executing digital marketing programs to meet the needs of our European prospects, partners, and customers. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of project management, digital channel expertise, and technical website marketing skills to serve as our regional in-house subject matter expert on all things web & digital.

From supporting content and campaign strategies, to addressing website technology needs and process concerns, to staying on top of latest trends and research, this position requires a "Webmaster" like technical acumen, coupled with business/digital savvy, a marketing mindset, and an eye for content, design, and UX as well. An understanding of how digital marketing channels fit into the larger B2B marketing ecosystem is key, as is the ability to liaise with technology resources, speak to our evolving capabilities, prioritize work, use good judgment in making decisions, and help to devise strategies that allow us to better measure and communicate the effectiveness of our website & digital marketing channels.

This position reports to the Senior Director, Digital Acquisition & Web Experience, as part of a web & digital marketing team centralized in San Francisco, California. The manager in this role will serve as an in-region extension of the team at HQ, embedded with our EMEA Marketing team in London, UK to better support our European market needs.

Role Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the EMEA Marketing team, Digital Advertising team, Web Strategy team, Creative, Sales, and Product teams to coordinate and execute strategic regional website initiatives & digital marketing campaigns to deliver measurable results
  • Manage program/project schedules and associated dependencies, identify possible issues or risks and clearly communicate them to key stakeholders
  • Provide management with visibility into program/project status while executing effective decision-making, approvals, and direction         
  • Prioritize the creation of new or updated of regional web experiences, working with stakeholders from marketing and business teams across the company
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand regional business requirements, and develop and document localized web & digital best practices to meet requirements
  • Work with designers and developers to translate business stakeholder needs to new website experiences & digital campaigns
  • Define and establish regional work standards and processes, and continuously iterate and improve upon those processes to drive efficiency and velocity
  • Monitor regional website & campaign performance, proactively taking action as necessary to optimize results or triage issues
  • Accountable for delivery of plans and attainment of financial and non-financial metrics
  • Contribute to building a high-performance marketing team renown for accountability, executional excellence, business impact and teamwork

Basic Qualifications

  • Substantial online marketing experience, with technology and B2B SaaS sector experience an advantage
  • Experience managing global web & digital marketing projects, programs, and campaigns
  • Demonstrable skills in strategic planning and execution
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use data and analytics to understand and improve performance
  • Experience working on global websites, including localization and working with regional marketing managers
  • Understanding of digital marketing channels including: email marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, SEM, and display advertising
  • Understanding of SEO best practices
  • Solid understanding of user experience, usability, website design, HTML and CSS
  • Familiar with A/B testing, audience segmentation, and targeting
  • A great team player, enthusiastic and proactive
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel & PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Solid global campaign strategy development and execution experience, with specific experience managing localization for European markets
  • Proven experience working on demand creation or digital teams and supporting programs to drive revenue
  • Direct experience managing digital advertising campaigns in paid search or social platforms, such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Direct experience with website CMS platforms such as Drupal, Adobe, or Wordpress
  • Strong grasp of CRM systems, specific knowledge of SFDC & Eloqua a strong advantage
  • Experience working closely with sales teams and management, possessing a deep understanding of the sales process for a SaaS business
  • Strong relationship builder, great communicator and strong influencer
  • Experience driving successful outcomes in a matrixed global organization
  • Experience with organizational change management
