Technical Product Marketing Manager at Bromium

Bromium is seeking a Technical Product Marketing Manager to join our Product and Technical Marketing team. This key marketing role is focused on raising Bromium’s technical voice in the cybersecurity market.

 

Primary job functions will include creating content, such as whitepapers, technical blogs, competitive assessments, proposal assets, how-to guides, release notes, and demo videos, working cross functionally with Product Management, Malware Analysis, Engineering, Marketing and Sales teams. A strong candidate will have technical knowledge on endpoint client virtualization and in-depth understanding of the threat landscape, with the ability to articulate Bromium value proposition and technical differentiators in application isolation and reporting on threats that are delivered to user desktops and laptops.

 

Job Responsibilities: 

· Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Malware Analysis and Engineering teams to develop and promote Bromium’s technical voice, as the leader in application isolation market 

· Launch product releases and communicate to the customer base and partners the benefits of upgrading using release notes, customer notification, training, how-to videos 

· Develop content for the knowledge and evaluation stages of the buyer’s journey to ensure Bromium presents a competitive and value driven message resulting in high conversions from interest to purchase 

· Create both customer-facing and internal product collateral, such as whitepapers, technical blogs, competitive resources, proposal assets, demos, presentations, blogs, datasheets, white papers, customer case studies,  

· Run sales/field enablement sessions to keep Bromium sales and technical staff up to date on competitive analysis, technical objection handling, and new product features 

· Work closely with the Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to bring new integrations and partnerships to market, ensuring excellent internal and external communications 

· Work closely with the Product team to continually educate employees, partners, and customers about the product roadmap and vision 

· Own competitive analysis and assist the field with proposals 

 

Job Requirements: 

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Business Management/Marketing 

· Strong technical background required with proven knowledge of virtualization technologies, deep knowledge in Windows OS, and threat research. Security operations experience and/or security or compliance certifications a plus​ 

· 4+ years in Product Marketing, Product Management, Technical Marketing, Solution or Sales Engineering in endpoint security for enterprise security software. Prior experience in buyer-facing role a strong plus 

· Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to translate technology features into business benefits 

· Excellent presentation and public speaking skills  

· Passionate about telling a good story about security and evangelizing technology 

· Experience with technical competitive assessments and proposal assets 

· Team player with experience working with cross-functional groups  

· Demonstrated experience in defining technical value propositions and creating buyer assets and sales enablement ​materials 

· Self-starter and, self-motivated with the ability to adapt quickly to changing market landscape 

· Ability to think creatively and structurally to solve problems with speed and scale 

· Experience working with channel partner

· Travel up to 20% (more if not located in the Bay Area)
