Regional Sales Manager at Preempt Security
Chicago, IL, US

Preempt is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager who will be responsible for driving the acquisition of new business. You will be responsible for driving sales establishing Preempt’s customer base in your region. You will need to prospect and target strategic accounts and develop relationships with our partners and resellers to extend your prospecting and pipeline. You should be comfortable presenting to senior and C-level audiences and have the ability to present security solutions and discuss use cases to help enterprises address their security challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Account strategy to generate new business across the territory
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and manage them through each stage of the sales cycle
  • Develop and manage channel partners within the territory
  • Articulate Preempt’s value proposition to target prospects
  • Demonstrate empathy for customer challenges and respond with sound recommendations
  • Work closely with marketing to strategize activities for customers and partners in the territory

Requirements

  • Must have several years in enterprise software solution sales
  • Consistently exceeded annual targets
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain executive relationships
  • Prior experience selling enterprise security solutions
  • Understanding of broad range of security technologies
  • Strong relationships in the territory
  • Ability to provide accurate forecasting; Regular use of Salesforce.com
