Product Line Manager at Syntiant
Irvine, CA, US

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with and document updates to product information from Syntiant engineering teams and operations teams

  • Monitor and review product phases from prospect through to production, holding regular reviews

  • Contribute to and execute marketing activities, such as preparing products and collateral for domestic and international conferences 

  • Effective marketing and promotion of Syntiant Neural Decision Processor products and Syntiant AI technology

  • Develop and maintain up to date knowledge of the relevant markets. Understand and interpret market requirements / trends and provide clear direction for the company

  • Develop and demonstrate Syntiant leadership and differentiation in the market with a targeted marketing plan

  • Regularly review customer forecast and revenue projections against plan

  • Work with Syntiant sales and customer support teams to identify, develop and secure design wins 

  • Ensure sales and customer support teams are up-to-date with the latest platform and product information and are aligned on strategic and commercial goals 

  • Continuously monitor and analyze competitor activities within the market and our customers

  • Identify and justify new platforms, product and market opportunities to enhance the near-term and long-term competitiveness of the roadmap 

  • Will be measured by meeting/beating revenue and market share targets for the relevant market segments

  • Will regularly review and report progress to the VP of Product and Business Development


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science

  • 5-10 years technical marketing experience gained in an applications, product marketing or sales role within the semiconductor industry. 
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA

  • Extensive experience with technology in consumer products, with demonstrated multimedia or audio expertise

  • Extensive customer facing experience

  • Demonstrated track record of defining differentiated technical offerings and communicating them to customers.

  • Demonstrated ability to consult with customers and deliver targeted solutions

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Effective and proven interpersonal skills

  • Outgoing, confident and decisive personality

  • Experience in neural networking technology with experience in bluetooth audio and/or expertise

  • Familiarity with Syntiant customer base at a technical and commercial level

  • Experienced commercial background including working with customers, partners and manufacturers in audio and/or consumer electronics segments

  • Track record of growing revenue or market share in a marketing or sales role

  • Knowledge of audio/multimedia and AI technologies strongly desired

  • Knowledge of bluetooth and/or wi-fi connectivity technology desired 
     

Education Requirements: Bachelor's
Preferred: Master's, Business Administration
