Head of Marketing at Embodied

At Embodied, we are proud to be building social assistive robots and we are looking to
add a highly skilled Head of Marketing to our growing creative team. The ideal
candidate will have extensive marketing experience with a proven track record of
successful new product launches. The position reports to the CEO and serves as a
member of the senior management team. Come be a part of a team that is out to

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of a
    comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will
    enhance the company’s image and position within the marketplace and the general
    public.

  • Facilitate all company’s marketing, communications and public relations activities and
    materials including publications, media relations, etc.

  • Ensure positive articulation of the company’s desired image and position, assure
    consistent communication of image and position throughout the company and externally.

  • Develop, coordinate and oversee all editorial direction, design, production and
    distribution of all company’s publications.

  • Coordinate media interest in the company and ensure regular contact with target
    media and appropriate response to media requests, at the appropriate time; act as the
    company’s representative with the media.

  • Ensure that the company regularly conducts relevant market research; monitor trends
    and competitors in similar spaces.

  • Leads projects as assigned, such as cause-related marketing and special events.

  • Attend and/or participate at conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, preparing
    engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post-event reports and
    analysis.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in senior marketing roles with a proven track record of
    success.

  • Experience in direct to consumer sales/marketing of consumer products in any of the
    following domains: children, content, and/or health.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities

  • Confident, driven and dynamic leader with solid decision making skills..

  • Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.

  • Strong copywriting skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Professional and proactive work ethic.

  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and
    PowerPoint.

  • High competence in project and stakeholder management.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
