Area Vice-President Enterprise Sales, South Europe at DocuSign

Position Summary:

This is a high impact leadership position in our expanding France Enterprise sales operation in Paris that reports directly to the VP of Enterprise Sales, EMEA who is based in London.

This high visibility role will drive continued success and expansion in our Enterprise clients in South region (France, Spain and Italy). The successful candidate will be responsible for driving incremental growth and net new logos with Enterprise companies in South Europe – France, Spain and Italy.


  • Win new Enterprise clients and logo with the support of marketing, sales engineering and business development
  • Creating, directing and driving new Enterprise business campaigns
  • Drive a Land & Expand methodology and mentality in our South Enterprise accounts
  • Successfully navigate within complex Enterprise accounts and understanding how to cross-sell and up-sell to find and win incremental use cases
  • Lead the Enterprise Account Executive sales team in Paris to manage complex deals that create business value and ROI for the customer
  • Leveraging and planning the various resources at your disposal (customer success, professional services, value engineering, pre-sales, marketing, lead generation) to win Enterprise business
  • Leveraging and influencing C-level engagements in Enterprise clients to win new business
  • Creating an Enterprise Account Executive talent pool for the wider sales organization
  • Leading complex customer engagements from the front with a passion to win business against competition



Bachelor’s degree OR Master’s degree in a relevant field (business, marketing, engineering)

Professional Experience

  • Proven track record of building and managing a high performing Enterprise sales teams in France
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas, objectives and metrics
  • Experience in hiring and developing Enterprise sales talent
  • Experience working with Partners, SIs and Resellers in the South region particularly in France
  • Experience in driving C-level / Senior Executive level discussions in large multi-national companies
  • Clear understanding of applications software and SaaS solutions
  • Proven background in driving and accelerating team performance through use of data (close rates, pipeline coverage, time to close etc.)
  • Experience of Salesforce and / or other contact centre management systems
  • Working within a complex, matrix driven organization
  • Fluency in French and English languages
  • Travel: 25% - 40% - European and U.S. visits during the year
