Purpose of position

We are looking for an ambitious, energetic professional to join our Sales team as an Inside Sales resource. VOSS has an existing database of potential customers, implements numerous marketing campaigns and participates in the major industry related conferences to generate new leads. The successful individual’s initial primary responsibility will be to evolve these leads to establish which are qualified so these can be handed across to the Sales team using the communicated thresholds and against the communicated criteria. The individual will also have responsibility for maintaining the leads database, which will offset the sales process by providing key support and information required by the team. Secondly the successful individual will work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to perform business development activities to generate new leads.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Responsible for inbound and outbound calls to our database
  • Qualify and rate prospective leads
  • Accurately record and maintain a database of all leads
  • Efficiently pass qualified leads to the Sales team
  • Generate the agreed minimum number of qualified leads per day, in line with targets communicated
  • Educate potential customers on the value of the VOSS product suite through demonstrations and information sharing sessions
  • Follow-up on Deal Desk activities and records currently in the database to maximise the number of pre-qualified leads
  • Compile weekly/monthly reports on qualified leads and track progress
  • Identify and record any key market, customer or competitor activity
  • Work with the Marketing team to:
    • produce data sheets and other customer facing materials
    • participate in all the lead generating activities
    • potentially improve or create new lead generating initiatives
  • Participate in the production and roll-out of webinar series
  • Help facilitate pre-marketing to webinar registrants and follow-up post webinar to qualify leads
  • Assist with the development of sales presentations for the VOSS product suite
  • Identify and expand product or services opportunities within existing accounts

Technical skills and experience

  • Microsoft Office suite experience
  • Experience using Salesforce will be advantageous
  • Experience working in a customer focused, customer service or sales role will be advantageous

Minimum qualifications

  • Business or Marketing degree or relevant tertiary qualification

  • Must hold current valid driver’s license and passport
  • Must be able to travel from time to time
  • Must have the legal right to work in the USA
