Strategy & Operations Analyst at R3CEV

R3 is an enterprise blockchain software firm working with a broad ecosystem of more than 300 members and partners across multiple industries from both the private and public sectors to develop on Corda, our open-source blockchain platform, and Corda Enterprise, a commercial version for enterprise usage.
Our global team of over 190 professionals in 13 countries is supported by over 2,000 technology, financial, and legal experts drawn from our global member base.
Our Corda platform is already being used in industries from financial services to healthcare, shipping, insurance and more. It records, manages, executes institutions’ financial agreements in perfect synchrony with their peers, creating a world of frictionless commerce.
This new position will partner with the APAC COO on high-value projects and initiatives in support of the business objectives of the APAC region.  Collaborate with APAC leadership team to put into action the company strategy. Manage and resolve the highest priority issues and risks. Additionally, provide support to R3’s Chief of Staff & global C-level executive team on high priority global initiatives. 


    •  Scope, plan and execute multiple projects with minimal outside assistance
    •  Present ideas for special projects that might facilitate R3's business objectives in APAC
    •  Work with appropriate stakeholders, including outside parties, to undertake analysis
    •  Present findings to APAC leadership team, and R3's global CEO & Executive staff, as appropriate
    • Set into motion the execution of projects working collaboratively with APAC leadership team and country leadership team
    •  Develop and maintain an inventory of critical path projects required for the success of the APAC region
    •  Work with APAC leadership team to align their actions and communications in support of agreed upon business goals
    •  Be prepared to apprise the APAC COO and Chief of Staff of project status and variations from schedule or scope
    •  Lead the development of company annual plans, and quarterly / 90-day team plans
    •  Project manage the execution of 2-3 high impact Special Projects
    • Work with APAC leadership team & global Chief of Staff to develop and maintain a APAC-wide risk / issues log
    • Engage in root cause analysis on issues and opportunities that could impact the R3 executive agenda
    • Confirm hypotheses through tactful and discrete engagement with the relevant parties
    • Develop alternative approaches to addressing the problem or opportunity
    • Engage in coalition building in support of mitigation approaches


    • Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university
    • Minimum 5 years experience at a leading management consulting firm, investment bank, private equity / VC or high-growth technology company
    • Project management experience
    • Impeccable written and oral communication skills
    • MBA desirable
    • Fluency in Mandarin essential
