Regional Sales Director (Mexico) at Sedona Systems

Sedona Systems, a leader and innovator in the field of multilayer network control, is looking for an accomplished Regional Sales Director to ensure achievement of the Americas sales group’s goals.
The Regional Sales Director will have direct selling responsibility in Sedona’s largest key accounts, while managing sales plan and implementing key account strategies for assigned responsibilities.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales cycle of Sedona’s software package as well as Maintenance Engineering.
  • Identify business opportunities and establish connections
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by achieving excellent communication and effective problem resolution between Sedona and customers
  • Building sales strategy
  • Support Engineering team with customer status updates
  • Prepare business cases and value-based pricing proposals
  • Proactively follow up with customer to secure orders, close negotiations and get acceptance of delivered products
  • Capturing upselling opportunities and managing commercial issues as they arise
  • Foster strong relationships with key customer contacts in order to successfully position Sedona’s portfolio
  • Manage relationships at the sub-director level of our customers’ organizations which includes leading periodic roadmap meetings and software commercial agreements
  • Maintain relevant industry knowledge

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in sales, focusing on the Network Service Providers market in LATAM with focus on Mexico.
  • Experience leading Sales activity in LATAM- Big advantage
  • Understanding Networks, knowledge of Optical, IP routing and/or SDN segments
  • Connections with major vendors is an advantage (Cisco, Juniper, Ciena, Infinera, Coriant, ALU)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong negotiation skills, and client management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact at the executive and all levels within customers’ organizations. Sales manager must be able to direct the resolution of complex operational and organizational problems.
  • Ability to promptly form a sales pipeline
  • Independent and able to work from home.

  • Extensive travel is required
