Director of Sales, Telecom at Panorama Software
Tel Aviv, IL

This is an intermediate-level sales role, pursuing new customers as well as expansion deals with existing customers. In this role you will be responsible for selling data analytics solutions to telecommunications service providers worldwide, with a revenue quota responsibility.  Such sales efforts will include selling via strategic value-added-resellers, as well as direct sales. You will be required to manage the sales process throughout the sales cycle: discover and identify needs, develop opportunities, conduct on-line and face-to-face product demonstration, identify and engage with relevant stake holders and decision makers, respond to RFPs, write commercial proposals, negotiate and close business. In this role, you will be reporting to the VP of Sales & Business Development.

Location

You will be working out of our offices in Tel Aviv, Israel.

What you will be expected to do…

Meet and exceed sales targets

Sell via strategic value-added-resellers, as well as direct, to telecommunications services providers

Work with prospects and existing customers to discover their needs and define solutions that address such needs

Present and demonstrate Panorama’s products to customers and partners, face-to-face and on-line

Identify and engage with relevant stake holders and decision makers; overcome objections

Lead the process of responding to RFPs in a short lead-time, while obtaining technical resources as needed

Write commercial proposals, negotiate and close business

Coordinate resources throughout the sales cycle, including the pre-sales, product management and delivery teams

International travel as necessary

Requirements, what you should have…

Proven experience of at least 5 years in direct sales of software solutions to telecommunications service providers in international markets – a must

Prior experience in pre-sales or consultative sales in the telecom market – an advantage

Great presentation and demonstration skills

Strong written communication skills

Go-Getter. Self-directed and resourceful, with a strong work ethic

Willing to travel worldwide (up to 25% of the time)

Must be a team player and a people’s person!

Bachelor’s Degree with a technical or business focus

Nothing less than a perfect English!
