HR and Payroll Coordinator at SS8

The HR and Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for administrative duties for human resources matters related to: tracking and updating employee records, benefits administration, processing U.S. and international payroll, support the hiring process, promotion, transfer and termination process, interface with key internal and external stakeholders; and assist in a wide range of matters including interpretation and application of regulations, rules and other policies. Your role, also, involves performing tasks with a focus to grow our company’s talent pipeline and support of corporate initiatives.

 Responsibilities:

 Recruiting Coordination

  • Coordinate interview process with recruiters, candidates, and interview teams
  • Work with managers to ensure that they evaluate and provide feedback on candidates quickly
  • Start background checks, offer approvals, and create offer letters
  • Work with travel agency to schedule travel for candidates
  • Update company Glassdoor profile and LinkedIn

 New Hire Coordination & Onboarding

  • Conduct new hire orientation
  • Create new hire orientation packets and exit packets
  • Assist new hires on new hire paperwork and benefits enrollment
  • Complete I-9 Employment Eligibility and E-Verify
  • Create E-files for new employees
  • Processing all personnel action forms and ensuring proper approval
  • Liaise with IT and Facilities to onboard new hires, terminations, and company activities

 Benefits

  • Administer and coordinate annual open enrollment
  • Work with ADP WFN and benefit carriers to ensure carrier EDI feeds are setup properly
  • Answer or refer employee benefit questions to benefit brokers
  • Review and approve pending employee information entered in ADP Workforce Now
  • Update Fidelity 401(k) employee statuses and addresses
  • Work with benefits broker on monthly health and wellness newsletters, quarterly lunch and learns, massages, and other activities

 Payroll

  • Process semi-monthly domestic payroll and monthly international payroll accurately
  • Liaise with Finance/Accounting when processing payroll

 Other Responsibilities:

  • May assist with Immigration process and performance management process
  • Coordinate logistics for Town Hall meetings, quarterly birthday celebrations, Sales Kickoff, company lunches, community volunteer programs (Family Giving Tree, Back to School Drive, etc.)

 Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience working on a Human Resources, Recruitment/Talent Acquisition team, and payroll administration
  • BS Business Administration or similar degree
  • Experience working with Jobvite or other recruiting/applicant tracking software
  • Experience working with ADP WFN HRIS, Payroll and Benefits
  • Meticulous attention to detail – ability to spot errors and work with complex & detailed, highly confidential information
  • Strong team player who is self-motivated; proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team; ability to drive and track multiple tasks and projects 
  • Adaptable to a constantly changing environment and able to switch priorities when necessary
  • Intellectually curious, interested in learning about our company, products, and people
