Acquisition Marketing Manager at SecurityScorecard

About the Role

SecurityScorecard’s marketing team is a highly collaborative group that communicates the value of our product across multiple marketing channels, driving demand and enabling our sales team to lead conversations with prospective clients.

The Acquisition Marketing Manager will play a critical role in the organization’s growth, developing the strategic framework for high impact digital campaigns and online presence that will fuel our sales lead funnel. The ideal candidate offers creative, big picture thinking and the tactical skills to deliver against strategic goals.


  • Build a full-funnel marketing plan to support product strategy, including awareness and demand generation activities.
  • Execute acquisition marketing campaigns aligned with strategic objectives: web, SEO/SEM, PPC, social media and display advertising
  • Optimize keywords, landing pages, and ad copy to align with strategic business objectives
  • Determine ROI and KPIs; measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns,
  • Identify trends and insights, optimizing spend and performance based on insights
  • Plan, execute, and measure A/B and conversion tests
  • Partner with marketing operations, product marketing and creative to optimize keywords for high impact landing pages
  • Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels
  • Optimize our existing marketing tech stack and identify new value-add technology or tools to improve results. Our tech stack currently includes Salesforce, Marketo, Heap, Wordstream.

Skills and Experience:

  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
  • 4-7 years of proven experience creating and driving successful marketing programs in B2B space
  • Experience in the cybersecurity industry and/or with a SaaS company is a plus
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, PPC campaigns, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid optimization knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Bing Ads
  • Experience setting up and tracking campaigns using Salesforce & Marketo (or related tool)
