Financial Systems Manager (Netsuite) at R3CEV

R3 is an enterprise software firm working with over 85 banks, financial institutions, regulators, trade associations, professional services firms and technology companies to develop Corda, its distributed ledger platform designed specifically for financial services. R3’s global team of over 200 professionals in 10 countries is supported by over 2,000 technology, financial, and legal experts drawn from its global member base.    
 
As a key member of the global finance department the candidate will be responsible for supporting R3’s Netsuite ERP system. As a newly created role, the candidate will provide the lead for all developments, maintenance and support of the ERP and other technology environments. In addition, the candidate will manage the design, configuration, testing and documentation for all ERP processes.
The candidate will liaise with external providers regarding additional consultancy work and support and help define the road map for our ERP offering. The role will require a large amount of hands-on development work with external Netsuite consultants, as we look to expand our ERP footprint and systemise internal processes.
The candidate will also act as the Finance lead in cross-departmental systems initiatives, ensuring integration and efficiency with existing systems.
 
During the first 12 – 18 months the role will be heavily project focused, as we look to build out R3’s Netsuite platform.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and driven to deliver at a high standard.  The candidate must be able to manage their own workload to deliver on the time scales for the projects.  You must also be able to manage external consultant workloads to make sure the projects are delivered consistently to a high standard and on budget.  You will be an organised, hardworking, friendly and confident individual, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to fit into the company culture.

Responsibilities

      • Supporting all aspects of NetSuite and data integrity and serve as primary contact for NetSuite support
      • Supporting end user requests (UK & US) for new saved searches, reports, KPIs, dashboards and query resolution
      • Monitoring & administering account management, roles, access, profile creation, security administration, etc.
      • Supporting the Sales to cash processes
      • Supporting the payroll and employee data management processes
      • Supporting the procure to pay and month end close processes, including running batch jobs
      • Delivering scheduled and ad-hoc training sessions in key areas
      • General ERP system maintenance and troubleshooting
 
Project work
    • Developing and implementing NetSuite’s forecasting, budgeting and reporting capabilities 
    • Working with the Financial Reporting and Planning Manager and Regional Financial Controllers to create bespoke, automated reporting
    • Utilising technical knowledge and business acumen to develop scripts and workflows
    • Designing integrated solutions with internal partners (HR, Professional Services, Sales), including scoping and implementing:
    • A new employee master data record keeping system
    • A Salesforce CRM integration
    • A project (Professional Services) time keeping system
    • Defining, documenting, implementing and monitoring a role-based hierarchy of users
    • Managing internal and external resources to deliver to specifications and deadlines

Experience

      • BA/BSc in relevant degree or equivalent work experience
      • Minimum 5 years Netsuite ERP experience
      • Experience of working within a commercial finance function and providing first line support
      • Administrator-level knowledge of roles, permissions, custom objects, scripting, workflows, reports, and dashboards.
      • Strong data analytics, reporting, and database experience (SQL and NetSuite).
      • Advanced Data Analysis with Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables).
      • A strong understanding of business processes and requirements.
