Global Sales Recruiter – Big Switch Networks

We’re looking for a passionate recruiter who cares less about simply filling a room with people and more about truly building a top global sales organization Have the opportunity to l develop a deep understanding of the company’s strategic sales roadmap.


  • Partner with hiring managers and the HR team to anticipate future hiring needs, identify any core competencies, and develop job descriptions that speak to our needs now and into the future
  • Provide hiring managers with insights and feedback as a strategic partner.
  • Launch cutting edge sourcing strategies, and subsequently identify, attract, and close top global talent.
  • Perform full life-cycle recruiting for all levels of roles across our entire Sales organization - From lead generation to hire! This position is full cycle which includes phone screen and interview scheduling as well as offer letter processing.
  • Source active and passive candidates for roles from a variety of high quality sources
  • Guide hiring managers and candidates through the recruiting process in a timely and effective manner.
  • Drive the internal recruiting process through our applicant tracking system, understanding that with clean data comes valuable insight
  • Plan events and identify opportunities to network
  • Work with the Head of Talent Acquisition and Sales leadership to develop learning opportunities and strategic recruiting.
  • Understanding of how a PEO works and hiring within a PEO works in off-shore locations without a Big Switch Networks entity. Hire within an off-shore global entity and provide BSN with all compensation, benefits information for the location.
  • Ability to source, screen and interview candidates globally.
  • Handle a global requisition load of 20-25 positions to fill within a quarter. This position may assist recruiting within other functions based on open positions and recruiter bandwidth.
  • Work with external agencies on an exception basis to supplement recruiting efforts


  • Demonstrated understanding of the competitive landscape and how to research, develop, and execute against a plan to produce talent for immediate and future needs
  • Strong verbal and written communication capabilities, strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced and ambiguous start-up environment
  • BA/BS in HR, Business or related fields, or commensurate experience
  • 5+ years' experience in talent acquisition with a focus in hiring for enterprise software sales roles (experience in a start-up environment is preferred)
  • 3+ years' experience performing full cycle recruiting (agency or in-house... or both!)
  • 3+ years' experience sourcing and/or recruiting candidates for business development, field sales, sales leadership or related roles
  • 3+ years' experience working within an enterprise and/or start-up environment
  • Proficiency with talent acquisition technologies (ATS, internet sourcing tools, campaign management tools, networking/referral technology, and talent mapping.
