Account Executive, SMB France at DocuSign

Position Summary

As the Account Executive, SMB French accounts, you are responsible for driving and developing opportunities within small to medium businesses (up to 200 employees). Across all industry verticals, you will sell additional use cases, products and services into existing accounts while also engaging and nurturing prospective customers. Ultimately, you are accountable for exceeding monthly/quarterly quota, dedicated deal management, forecast accuracy, and driving adoption/usage with customers and prospects in collaboration with internal teams and the broader DocuSign partner ecosystem.

The successful SMB Account Executive will exhibit an ability to "evangelize" new and disruptive products plus have strong cross-functional collaboration skills and exhibit success engaging with the various pre/post sales resources required.

This position is an Individual Contributor and will report to the Account Executive, SMB Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Be a driving force in the success of the company’s goals and objectives through achieving individual sales quotas.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline through prospecting efforts into geographic territory with the Legal vertical.
  • Develop and negotiate enterprise level proposals and contracts
  • Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue achievement through proper use of sales tools
  • Create and deliver customized sales presentations and high-impact demonstrations, by phone / web-demo
  • Collaborate effectively and engage various pre/post sales resources including Sales Development Representatives, Market Development Representatives, Solutions Engineer, Account Managers, Partner Account Managers, as well as Legal, Security, Professional Services and Customer Support

Required Experience

  • BS/BA degree required
  • A proven track record of success as an Account Executive / Sales professional. Experience selling SaaS solutions preferred
  • Experience selling web-based products/services into a specialty (Financial Service, Legal, etc.) vertical preferred
  • Highly motivated self-starters, eager to learn, determined to adapt quickly, and comfortable with some ambiguity.
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles
  • Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
  • Strong computer skills, including Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Willingness and ability to travel as necessary, typical about 10%
  • Fluency in French and English
