Accounts Payable Specialist – France at DocuSign

Position Summary:

The core focus for the Accounts Payable Specialist will be managing the end to end Accounts Payable (AP) process for our French legal entity which uses the Sage accounting package.  The remainder of the individual’s time will be spent supporting global AP operations where the system used is NetSuite.   

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Raising POs for DocuSign France on Sage trade management module.
  • Having POs validated by relevant managers.
  • Managing and tracking POs with a view to ensuring accurate monthly accruals for DocuSign France.
  • Booking supplier invoices for DocuSign France.
  • Managing supplier payments for DocuSign France including.
    • Monitoring AP aged balances.
    • Having invoices approved for payment by purchasers.
    • Managing AP payment process.
    • Booking supplier payments in accounting system.
  • Booking employee expense reports in the accounts system and managing related payments.
  • Processing invoices for other DocuSign entities as required.
  • Raising POs for other DocuSign entities as required.
  • From time to time assisting with Accounts Receivable activities such as billing and collections.


Education, Registration & Certification:

  • 3rd level business/accounting qualification desirable.


  • Strong end to end AP experience.
  • French language skills.
  • Fluent English.
  • Understanding of French accounting and, in particular, French GAAP chart of accounts structure is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Sage highly desirable.
  • Experience of large corporate ERP systems such as NetSuite highly desirable.
  • Experience and high level of competence in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Well-organized with ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to work towards tight deadlines and corporate objectives.
  • Flexibility and can-do attitude.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Some travel to the US and Europe may be required.
