Content Marketing Manager at DocuSign

Position Summary

As Content & PR Marketing Manager for DocuSign’s UK business, you will be an active all-round contributor to an integrated, highly-collaborative marketing team, tasked with developing and executing strategic marketing programs into the region.

Organic content and its contribution to both brand and demand gen goals is a significant part of our UK operation. In this role you will support the regional marketing team, and the DocuSign business, with highly engaging PR ad content programs and high-quality content to help achieve business objectives.

This position is an Individual Contributor role and reports to our PR & Content Marketing Director based on London.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for local content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, and leads, that deliver prospects into our funnel, and support customer retention
  • Support for and input into local PR programs, in collaboration with our local agency
  • Collaborate across functions to help create and manage an effective editorial plan to meet the local business’ objectives at the lowest possible cost
  • Actively create the content that is relevant to target audiences and optimize the path to conversion, including written content and creative
  • Exhibit a basic on page and off page SEO understanding, as well as a strong grasp on content categorisation and structure, content development, distribution and measurement.
  • Ensure content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone
  • Management of locally-relevant supporting social channels and blog, demonstrating best practices of each of the main social media channels, which content and approaches work on them in each country, and why
  • Integration of content programs with brand campaigns to drive brand to demand
  • Integration of content programs into regional campaigns through alignment with local campaign leads
  • Champion the sharing of news coverage and content by employees
  • Agree metrics for all programs and report against these, to understand the impact of our campaigns on the business, testing, optimising and sharing best practice.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proven track record of experience with a technology vendor (with B2B experience an advantage)
  • Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience
  • PR experience
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics, blog publishing software, and social media publishing tools, as well as the major social media channels.
  • A great team player, enthusiastic and proactive
  • Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience
  • Ability to analyse and present content performance
  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience

Desirable Skills

  • Adobe Creative Suite, Spredfast and Drupal skills an advantage
  • Aptitude for technology
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues and cross-functional teams, and partners and customers.
