Position Summary

To further our momentum, we’re looking for a Sales Trainer to join our high-performance team in our journey to help everyone do business faster – and better.

The Senior Sales Trainer will educate new and existing sales team members through in-depth sales methodology training and coaching. They will also leverage our Learning Management System to drive the application of learning. They will work closely with the sales leaders and subject matter experts throughout DocuSign to build highly tailored training programs/content.

Responsibilities

  • You will utilise all aspects of the Training Cycle - Needs Analysis, Design, Delivery and Evaluation, providing a comprehensive, programmatic approach to onboarding and ongoing development.
  • You will have a large focus on ramping new starters – 20% of the team is in the ramping phase at any one time, meaning training delivery in short structured modules, is a priority.
  • Deliver and continuously evolve effective and dynamic training programs through instructor-led sessions to small and large groups, and through our e-learning platform.
  • Your training focus will include sales skills, product, systems and processes, providing sales representatives the skills, tools, and behaviours they need to over-achieve their targets.
  • Coach new and existing sales individuals through both off the floor certification, and on the job live call coaching.
  • Conduct ongoing needs analysis by working with managers and sales representatives and joining team meetings, to understand where learning interventions can contribute further to their success.
  • Assess success by measuring how training is supporting the new hires reach their full quota attainment in their first 90 days.
  • Capture qualitative feedback from the new employees and management on the value and effectiveness of the onboarding experience.
  • You will act as an extension and key partner of the management team in seeking optimum sales performance.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales training and coaching in a high-volume sales environment
  • Experience in designing and delivering training sessions to sales teams (on sales techniques, product and systems)
  • Proven experience in partnering successfully with sales leaders
  • Flexible and a positive team player
  • You love having a true sense of ownership and partnership in the success of the whole Team
  • Results driven - you are passionate about accelerating the performance of new sales hires
  • Ability to report out on training activities and metrics
  • Experience in training teams selling Technology based products is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com a plus
  • Undergraduate degree required
