Customer Support Assistant at What3Words

If you are looking to enter the world of entrepreneurship, this is a unique opportunity for a recent graduate to join a rapidly-growing business in its scale-up phase.
We need a Customer Support Assistant working for the HQ team in London and supporting what3words’ business development activity globally.

About the role

The job will be based in West London, and you will be part of a growing what3words Customer Support team.

As we continue to gain global recognition through our partnerships, we receive enquiries from individuals and businesses all around the world who want to use what3words in innovative and exciting ways. As the volume increases, we need a bright, energetic, composed team member who can confidently handle any and all enquiries.

You will help our users to use what3words effectively. You will need to understand how they want to use our technology, and offer the right support to ensure they are getting the most out of our products.


About you

We are specifically interested in the right personality with compatible skills rather than an arbitrary length/type of previous experience – though this role is likely to suit a recent graduate.

  • Handle the day-to-day running of our Customer Support system
  • Upsell to our users
  • Work closely with the business development, growth, engagement and marketing teams to optimise conversion rates

You will have:

  • Impeccable spoken and written English
  • Excellent and versatile communication skills (the ability to talk to techies and non-techies effectively) – both verbal and written – and be comfortable working with diverse people
  • an eye for detail and accuracy

You will be:
