R3 is revolutionizing the way banking and commercial transactions happen with our distributed ledger technology, Corda.  Distributed Ledger Technology allows for not only dramatic efficiencies in the way commercial transactions occur but enables new things that haven’t even been dreamed up yet - we are creating a new future for global commerce.
 
This role will be focused on building and managing a strong Partner Ecosystem across India with the key goals of driving:
 
·       adoption of Corda
·       early revenues
·       customer stickiness to Corda longer term
 
The role will perform 3 key functions:

Responsibilities

    • General Partner Management - India
    • Set overall goals, direction and strategy for Partner Management across India in collaboration with the R3 leadership team
    • Contribute to global partner management strategy and planning
    • Establish and run partner account planning meetings and partner events
    • Drive and support RFPs across the region
    • Engage closely with Business Development team and specifically with technical pre-sales engineers in support of RFPs and projects / pilots
    • Senior stakeholder management responsibilities with all partners in India
    • Accountable and responsible for activating ISV’s and SI’s
    • Identify and negotiate high-value partnerships which can drive adoption of the Corda platform and revenue through development of CorDapps
    • Nurture existing partnerships to deliver ongoing mutual value and evolve the relationship as more R3 offerings come on-line
    • Collaborate closely with R3 platform, services, commercial and legal teams for end-to-end partnership engagement, from initial agreement to CorDapp launch
    • Maintain close monitoring of emerging, high potential Partners which may be valuable CorDapp partners in future
    • Build and manage a strong partner ecosystem
    • Design and develop the strategy for building a strong partner ecosystem for across all financial sectors including Exchanges and Capital Markets across India
    • Design and Develop the plans for running and managing a strong partner ecosystem for across all financial sectors including Exchanges and Capital Markets

Qualifications

    • Post Graduate Degree or MBA required
    • Typically have a minimum of 8+ years' combined strategy and delivery management
    • Preferred experience in managing partners and building external relationships from within a technology organisation
    • Good understanding of blockchain & distributed ledger technology
    • Good understanding of a broad range of financial products
    • Advanced analytic and diagnostic skills
    • Strong project and program management skills.
    • Advanced problem solving and decision making skills
    • Experience preparing and presenting strategy and planning materials to senior stakeholders
    • Experience negotiating complex deals
