Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Global Tax Director to join our talented team of finance professionals to support the domestic and international tax compliance and financial reporting requirements of our company.  Partnering with our global business leaders, the Tax Director will be responsible for all direct and indirect tax compliance, accounting and reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to build upon your already strong technical knowledge, business acumen and project management skills.

This is a very hands-on position, so the successful candidate will be energetic, motivated, creative, proactive and not only comfortable managing Sprinklr’s tax accounting and compliance but also developing and driving planning initiatives and strategies that help to manage and mitigate Sprinklr’s global tax risk and exposure.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:

Manage the global tax calendar and ensure we file all direct and indirect tax related returns around the world accurately and timely.

Preparing the US GAAP consolidated income tax provision for the US parent and foreign operations and ensuring that the companies’ tax provisions and balance sheet tax accounts are properly stated. This will include the preparation of quarterly and annual tax footnotes and required supporting documentation for inclusion in the entity and Group’s financial statements.

Lead the tax accounting provision process and reporting for the company’s global operations under ASC 740, including [BB2] reporting of uncertain tax positions.Manage the US federal and state income tax compliance process.

Oversee preparation[BB4]  and Filing of all State and Local Tax Compliance Obligations (including Sales & Use, Personal Property, Municipal Tax Returns etc.).

Oversee preparation of VAT, GST and other foreign indirect taxes.

Manage the company’s transfer pricing policy and maintain required transfer pricing documentation.  

Helping to identify, design and implement tax planning strategies.

Monitor and provide analysis of legislative and regulatory developments. Evaluate potential impact of tax legislation on the company and recommend the proper course of action.

Help identify, evaluate, and advise management on the income tax consequences of current and proposed M&A transactions.

Manage all tax audits, as needed.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

Prior experience of working at or for a software as a service company with international operations.

CPA or equivalent tax designation and a detailed knowledge of US corporate tax law and accounting principles.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Tax (Master's Degree in Accounting or Tax a plus).

8+ years of tax experience, preferably including 2+ yrs with a Big 4  Firm.

Strong work ethic and ability to partner in a team-oriented environment.

The ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects.

Excellent writing, communicating and interpersonal skills are a must and the successful candidate with be able to communicate confidently with our clients and with representatives from Federal, State and local tax agencies.
