Field & Channel Marketing Manager, EMEA at Carbon Black

Carbon Black seeks a creative, execution oriented and driven Marketing Manager to play an important role in the continued growth and expansion of Carbon Black’s business across EMEA.

 

Carbon Black is one of the most innovative cyber-security companies in the IT security sector and we are seeking an experienced marketing professional to help drive market activity and campaigns. The primary focus will be driving marketing activity with Carbon Black’s channel partners as well as planning, organising and executing field events across the EMEA region.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the field and inside sales teams to identify appropriate events and execute against the resulting field marketing plans

  • Manage all the logistics to run a successful event from start to finish

  • Liaise with Carbon Black’s partners in supporting the execution of joint marketing campaigns

  • Effectively measure the results for event and partner campaigns - right down to the pipeline generated

  • Interact with internal teams - especially the field and channel teams - but also collaborate with the US teams as needed to deliver against objectives

  • Undertake vendor negotiations and organise suppliers

  • Budget management to maintain projects within budget and report back on costs and ROI

  • Assisting in the ordering of new materials, updating materials and disbursement as needed

  • Maintaining all event & partner communication tools – SalesForce.com campaigns, Partner Portal, marketing calendars etc.

  • Actively research, learn and incorporate new means and methods whenever and wherever possible to improve marketing processes

  • Initiate recommendations to improve marketing and event processes to increase overall efficiencies

 

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a field/events position

  • Channel marketing experience

  • Confident in leading and managing multiple projects

  • Attention to detail, organisational skills, excellent communication, creative problem solving skills and innovative thinking

  • Experience in using Salesforce.com, Marketo and Netsuite would be desirable

 

Additional comments:

 

The role requires to have flexibility for travel and on occasion to work outside of normal business hours as needed.

 

This is a new position and will be based at our offices in Reading.
