Job description

Inside Sales Account Executive North America – Parallels RAS

The sales superstar joining this team will be responsible for driving growth of net new accounts for Remote Application Server. This individual has a demonstrated hunter mentality and will qualify opportunities, execute sales demonstrations and work closely with Sales Engineering in launching customer proof of concept (POC) projects, ultimately leading to the sale of RAS. Day to day activities will be to develop new opportunities for RAS, support inbound requests, and will be responsible for effective pipeline management. This role will report to the RAS Sales Director Americas.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet measurable goals and sales quotas set on a quarterly basis
  • Provide an accurate weekly revenue forecast for the current month, quarter and year. Accurately & timely reflect sales activities in Salesforce.com CRM
  • Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales and identify new business opportunities
  • Generate qualified leads and sales opportunities by prospecting, cold calling and networking using variety of outbound sales approaches (phone, email, social, networking, tradeshows).
  • Stay current with latest developments in marketplace and competitor activities.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge and ability to articulate our value proposition, do product technical demo’s

 

 

Experience & Required Skills

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5 years with proven track record of sales success in software solutions or high tech industry experience selling into SMB and Enterprise markets
  • Experienced user skills with Salesforce.com CRM reporting, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience and background in 2 tier channel/distribution sales model
  • Working knowledge of mobile applications and cloud based solutions
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, and VMWare Horizon is preferred
  • Working knowledge of remote access technology is preferred

  • Strong sales background, strong communication and presentation skills
  • Able to effectively prepare, justify, communicate and drive sales forecasting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ensure suspect identification, planning, account qualification and needs analysis at all prospect levels
  • Engage in technical discussions with potential clients, demonstrations and presentations
  • Knowledge of strategic account sales techniques/processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcome objections, develop business cases, and negotiate and close deals
  • Able to effectively prepare, justify, communicate and drive sales forecasting.
  • Enthusiastic, hard working with a mature attitude to be able to establish credibility with internal and external customers. Ability to organize and plan in a logical manner when under pressure.
  • Must be strongly self-motivated and able to work independently.
