Senior Human Resources Generalist at Mirantis

Responsibilities
  • Support end-to-end employee lifecycle management process for all US based employees
  • Provide expertise in employee engagement, performance management, employee relations, total rewards, learning and development, recruiting etc.  
  • Be the point of contact for benefits, leaves, employee relations issues, etc.
  • Facilitate & provide administrative support for performance management initiatives, employee engagement surveys, training and development initiatives
  • Assist with non-immigrant and immigrant visa filings, including H-1B, L-1, PERM cases
  • Work closely with employees and candidates in navigating the immigration and relocation process as a subject matter expert
  • Review and approve semi-monthly time cards and monthly invoices from benefits and office vendors
  • Coordinate with broker on managing health & 401K benefits
  • Compile and submit ADA Reporting, 5500 Reporting, discrimination testing, annual audit
  • Support, collaborate and partner with HR team on implementing HR systems, tools, programs, policies and initiatives
  • Assist with gathering information on regulatory and compliance reporting, compliance and legal audits
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment, benefits & leave laws and regulations on Company Wiki
  • Execute on ad-hoc projects as assigned by HR team
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • Experience in: coaching, talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation and total rewards, and/or conflict resolution
  • HR experience in preferably in mid-late stage startups
  • Familiarity with Paylocity, NetSuite and/or other HRIS systems
  • PHR certification a plus
  • Experience with immigration, relocation and HR compliance a plus.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS Degree required in Business, HR or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive HR Operations or Generalist experience 
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws is required  
  • Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
  • Excellent skills in communication (oral and written), including presentation, influencing and negotiating skills  
  • Sound judgement and problem-solving skills
