Sales Account Manager at Gamalon

Gamalon is a fast-paced startup in Kendall Square Cambridge, MA.  We were recognized by the MIT Technology Review as one of the “50 Smartest Companies” for 2017. With over $30 million in funding including the largest grant DARPA has ever given for development of next generation Artificial Intelligence, Gamalon has demonstrated a new level of speed and scale at which AI can learn new ideas from natural language. Using our Idea Learning technology, our products provide companies with deep understanding of what customers are saying, and enables 1 to 1 customer experiences and actions. 
 
Gamalon has seen great success with early customers, and we are now looking for our first group of sales account managers to accelerate growth.  If you are a self-motivated, energetic, and thoughtful salesperson with a desire to join a revolutionary company with unlimited upside, this role is for you.  The ideal candidate is an execution focused, startup-friendly trailblazer who has a passion for working with customers to identify successful solutions. The candidate will be able to creatively problem solve to close new customers and upsell existing customers. 
 
Primary Responsibilities: 
  • Identify, qualify, and close sales 
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities 
  • Negotiate contracts to close 
  • Work with the business development, product management, marketing, data science, research, and engineering groups to exceed customer expectations 
  • Participate in conferences and other events to drive the funnel 
 
You’ll be successful if you have: 
  • 5+ years of sales experience with a track record of exceeding quota selling to large enterprise and upper mid-market accounts 
  • Strong ability to qualify and prioritize prospects, and generate opportunities through prospecting, networking and relationship building 
  • Start-up friendly demeanor with the ability to work with ambiguity and roll up your sleeves to fill holes 
  • Ability to think strategically, be creative, and execute 
  • Experience selling data analytics, business intelligence, digital transformation, and/or customer experience solutions to enterprise 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and listening skills 
  • Ability to collaborate well in a team environment 
  • Authorized to work in the US
