Sr. Sales Development Representative at Stratoscale

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for sourcing and prospecting leads for meetings with the sales team
  • You will carry a quota and a set of objectives related to the development of new business
  • Establish and maintain best practices, tools, and processes for outbound prospecting and Inbound lead qualification
  • Track performance through qualitative and quantitative means with the goal of driving efficiency and pipeline growth
  • Define and develop signals and indicators to find the right prospect, at the right time, for the right team
  • Maintain in-depth product, industry trend, and technical knowledge
  • Provide continuous feedback to management regarding the relevance of the leads and the messaging used with the objective being to improve overall lead quality and conversion rates
  • Continually track and report progress via Salesforce activity/tasks/actions fields

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' direct selling or sales development experience with complex software/Saas products
  • Successful and proven ability to develop a prospect pipeline through targeted outbound prospecting directed toward executive leadership
  • Experience with Salesforce and other modern prospecting solutions
  • Experience in setting goals and monitoring activity; ability to self-manage and take initiative in a startup environment
  • Works in a structured manner with a great attention to details
  • Results-oriented with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
