Account Director (Healthcare) at Savioke

Savioke has recently entered the healthcare marketplace with the goal of helping pharmacy and lab technicians and nurses provide better patient care by taking over the time-consuming, monotonous task of delivery. To optimize the opportunity we are looking for a senior sales executive who can hit the ground running to help Relay become the #1 service robot in healthcare.
The ideal candidate must have a forward-thinking and strategic approach to solving business issues and a strong background in selling innovative solutions to hospitals.  He or she must be motivated by a passion for Savioke products and services, our clients’ success, achieving goals and driving deals. With a focus on healthcare, the Account Director is responsible for helping grow the sales effort within Savioke including prospect identification, evaluation, development, and deal making.


    • Generate sales leads and identify, cultivate, pursue, negotiate and close new sales
    • Support and drive sales efforts of distribution partners
    • Qualify accounts/potential customers to maximize an efficient sales cycle
    • Develop strategies for additional opportunitiesDevelop and deliver custom sales presentations and demonstrations
    • Choreograph and conduct on-site assessments of customer requirements and needs
    • Accurately forecast and maintain accurate records
    • Explore additional sales opportunities, markets, and audiences under the healthcare umbrella


    • Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of sales experience with consistent record of achievement
    • Experience selling technology in a hospital/healthcare environment
    • Proven client relationship management experience and the ability to close transactions with prominent business executives at all levels
    • A track record of success in “solution selling”, contracting, and delivering complex, multi-year client agreements
    • Established  network in the healthcare industry
    • Ability to learn and demonstrate technical aspects of Savioke products
    • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a start up environments
    • An entrepreneurial mindset and practice: you thrive as part of a small team and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves to build something great
    • Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills
    • Willingness to travel
Savioke is the leading developer of autonomous service robots for delivery in dynamic,
public environments. With a vision of helping people through robotics and AI, we launched our first  robot, Relay, in 2014 into hotels, to deliver items from the front desk and housekeeping to guest rooms. With continued success in hotels, Relay is currently helping staff in about 100 properties and has made over 400,000 deliveries.
Now that Relay has entered the healthcare marketplace, our goal is to establish Savioke as the autonomous service of choice by healthcare workers. Together with our distribution partner, we are achieving significant traction and seeing extraordinary opportunity in hospitals. We are excited to be building robots that are doing useful work and are touching people’s lives on a daily basis.  While driving thousands of kilometers autonomously, Relays delight everyone who sees them.
