Job Description:

 

GoodData is seeking an Enterprise Sales Development Representative to join our Enterprise Sales team in San Francisco, CA. In this sales and business development role, you will go deeper and wider into our current and prospective enterprise customers; manage our partner ecosystem, and help drive prospects to closure.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Facilitate the generation of new business opportunities to fuel revenue

Research targeted accounts by accessing 10Q reports, analyst briefings, blogs, websites etc. to identify key initiatives and business drivers

Research and build new & existing accounts (e.g., adding contacts, sending regular emails, strategic appointment setting)

Along with your AE team, develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new business

Working with our sales leadership team, create, prioritize, and qualify strategic target account lists

Call and email targeted executives up to director level.

Along with your AE, conduct initial conversations and present GoodData’s industry-level value

Work with field marketing to build attendance at sponsored field events like trade shows and conferences

When necessary man the booth at the events

Be an example of organization and excellence to the team by setting and making your goals

Achieve or exceed monthly quotas of qualified opportunities and closed business

Follow up on a high volume of new leads in a rapid manner

Document various details including use case, purchase timeframes, next steps

Understand a prospect’s need and effectively communicating how GoodData will meet them

Use SalesForce.com for lead management and sales forecasting

Use ToutApp for prospect email campaigns

Make outbound calls to prospective customers

Give high-level solution overview presentations online

Discover new leads through internet research and social media monitoring/commenting

Support marketing efforts by assisting in online, direct mail and other marketing campaigns

 

Qualifications:

 

Ability and aptitude to understanding and communicate advanced technologies…and an enthusiasm for doing this

Ability to understand customer requirements and identify business challenges that GoodData can solve

Enjoy researching, building info and discerning insight that is not expressly laid out

Hunter mentality in seeking out new business and qualifying out unfit prospects

Undergraduate degree (BA or BS)

Prior sales or lead qualification experience (2 to 4 years)

Ability to build strong personal relationships with prospects, customers, and partners

High energy and positive attitude

Strong problem-solving skills

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment that is revolving

Articulate and passionate; this comes through in your excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency with social media (LinkedIn, Twitter)

Energy and desire to make high-volume phone calls daily

Consistent, demonstrable over-achievement in past experiences

Experience in using CRM tools such as Salesforce to log activity and create reports

Email marketing experience using ToutApp or similar a huge bonus
