MIPS/MACRA Quality Specialist at Carecloud

The MIPS/MACRA Quality Specialist helps drive the organizational initiatives by bringing their clinical quality expertise into the product, documenting requirements, creating technical specifications, designing system enhancements, and ensuring successful outcomes of all the initiatives they’re involved in. Working closely with Product Managers and business stakeholders, the MIPS/MACRA Quality Specialist translates business needs into effective process and software designs, helping the company achieve its objectives using superior processes and technologies.

 

You Will:

  • Determine the MACRA track a customer may or may not qualify for – MIPS or APMs
  • Analyze Medicare patient volume and reimbursements
  • Identify the number of eligible clinicians who can be enrolled in a given program
  • Understanding of ACOs and other coordinated care programs
  • Help customers comply with with Meaningful Use, PQRS, ASCQR, SPARCS, HCRA and THCIC compliance programs
  • Detail training sessions to conduct for customers, where you will cover the basics of the program and answer any specific questions they might have
  • Track adherence to measures and provide regular reports and alerts to customers
  • Potentially attest/submit compliance data to respective registries on behalf of customers
  • Monitor and coordinate CareCloud participation in standards organizations applicable to EHRT/CHIT
  • Provide educational webinars for internal and external audiences
  • Monitor and ensure compliance of product certification and recertification
  • Maintain CEHRT Criteria List (e.g. ONC 2015 Edition Health IT Certification Criteria)
  • Monitor certification test methods and educate product teams (i.e. Test Tools, Test Plans, Test Procedures, Test Data)
  • Coordination with ONC-Authorized Certification Bodies (ONC-ACBs) (e.g. Drummond Group)

Work Location: CareCloud's Miami headquarters office

REQUIREMENTS

You Need:

  • Experience in healthcare industry required
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role
  • You must be detailed oriented, possess a strong work ethic, thrive with minimal supervision, exhibit superb judgment and professionalism and prosper in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred and/or other relevant combination of training and experience
  • Ability to think creatively and to contribute to both strategic and tactical decisions
  • Ability to understand and interact with technically-oriented team members
  • Ability to understand and articulate business implications of technical issues
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical ability; ability to define complex problems and creatively frame solutions
