Senior Sales Operations Manager at Big Switch

The Sales Operations Sr. Manager is a global role within the Sales Enablement Strategy and Operations function of Big Switch.  The Sales Operations Manager will be a key point of contact for the Sales, Product Marketing, Business Development, Finance, Marketing, SFDC and Executive teams.  The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for sales forecasting, analytics, productivity, CRM maintenance, training and other sales support functions.  This position reports directly to the Vice President of World Wide Sales Enablement Strategy and Operations. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Directly supports a global sales team with sales initiatives, programs, renewal process, annual planning activities, sales productivity analysis, and special projects.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement by working closely with sales and sales management to inspect sales process and understanding process bottlenecks.
  • Provide training and support to the sales team on enablement tools and the CRM, Salesforce.com (SFDC).
  • Provide necessary data analysis to support marketing and sales campaigns, territory planning, and whitespace analysis including changes in SFDC and maintenance of maps.
  • Work with sales and various departments on dashboard creation and reporting needs.
  • Assist in maintenance of audit reports to ensure data integrity within SFDC.
  • Recommends and Implements enabling technologies, to the field sales team as well as monitors for compliance with required standards for maintaining data.
  • Work cross functionally to ensure updates and necessary communications with the sales team. 
  • Serve as representative on internal teams/committees to assist with new processes, systems and program rollouts.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales Operations.
  • Communicate effectively, in both oral and written form, with all levels with BSN.
  • Strong analytical skills with sound business sense.
  • Demonstrated expert using Excel, and familiarity with SFDC
  • Demonstrated track record of implementing successful cross-functional programs, including development of business process and system solutions.
  • Project management experience preferably within sales operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with the executive level.
  • International experience and ability to drive global initiatives.
  • Must work well under pressure of deadline.
