Director of Sales at SiFive

At SiFive, you’ll be part of a fun, engaging team and be afforded the opportunity to grow within the company. You will work side-by-side with the founders of RISC-V and bring to fruition the new RISC-V architecture and enable its rapid adoption by implementing new tools, breakthrough design methods and services. We need people who are trail-blazers, aren’t afraid to take a chance, and don’t always “go with the flow”.
 
The sales director position will be focused on selling SiFive’s industry-leading RISC-V Core IP to key strategic and tactical customers.    

Essential Functions:

    • Closing Deals!
    • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
    • Develop deep relationships at strategic customers in order to understand customer’s requirements, needs, issues.
    • Contributes to the strategy of the company by being the "voice of the customer” and understanding the market and customer requirements.
    • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, provide product and pricing feedback.
    • Represents company at trade events to promote product.
    • Delivers sales presentations to key clients, working either alone or with a technical support team (FAE, Product Marketing).
    • Prepares regular sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of potential growth.
    • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.

Competencies:

    • Experienced in IP sales in a high-tech environment.
    • Familiar with the semiconductor ecosystem and supply chain.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to develop strong relationships within the customer organization
    • Creative, able to think “out-of-the-box” and develop creative solution to customer problems and pain points.
    • Able to describe a vision
    • Value-based selling, with the ability to identify win-win situations.
    • Strong initiative, self-driven, with the ability to solve problems and identify new opportunities.
    • Some level of technical background/credibility with the customer.
    • Team player, able to work in an extremely fast-paced, dynamic, growing environment!

Travel:

    • This position requires up to 25% travel.     

Required Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • 7+ years in sales.
