Technology Evangelist (VRM) at SecurityScorecard

About the Role

As part of our commitment to deep engagement with our customers, SecurityScorecard is investing in a Vendor Risk Management Technology Evangelist. The ideal candidate demonstrates deep customer empathy from direct experience working on VRM programs, and can speak in depth about enterprise risk management principles and regulatory requirements across varied industries. Additionally, a qualified candidate will have participated in the diagnosis, analysis and solution building to craft a robust VRM, and will have identified vendors to align to program requirements.

The VRM Technology Evangelist is highly visible internally and externally and will contribute to the development and execution of strategy to provide more value to our customers based on their unique business challenges around vendor risk management. TheVRM Technology Evangelist may also speak to audiences at conferences and industry events, providing thought leadership on vendor risk management and communicating the value proposition of the SecurityScorecard platform.

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in vendor risk management, performing vendor risk assessments, risk identification, risk mitigation, issue management and support
  • Thought leadership; public speaking 
  • Proven experience evaluating vendors and successfully managing a variety of vendor relationships
  • Understanding of third party assessment and risk related technologies
  • Expertise in driving the development and ongoing administration of a vendor risk, enterprise risk or operational risk management program
  • Demonstrated experience in developing risk identification and mitigation solutions
  • Expertise in regulatory requirements regarding third party management for financial institutions
  • Excellent skills in business, financial, problem solving and analysis.
