Product Manager at Peloton

Peloton is seeking a product management professional to define and drive the development of applications that leverage the extensive data collection, integration and aggregation capabilities of the Peloton PlatoonPro system to create industry leading fleet management solutions, analytics, and other data products for our transportation industry customers. This role will be responsible for defining market requirements, product requirements, and the Peloton strategy for teaming with leaders in the telematics and fleet management software industry.

Key Responsibilities

    • Assess customer demands, market dynamics, and Peloton’s unique opportunities in connectivity-enabled vehicle automation
    • Develop an ecosystem analysis of available product offerings and opportunities for new and/or improved products from both fleet and end-user standpoints
    • Work with the management team to build a commercialization plan and go-to-market strategies for Peloton’s vehicle automation systems
    • Act as the liaison between engineering and business teams
    • Steer maintenance of roadmap to advocate for customer values
    • Define the product requirements and support engineering development efforts to design and implement products

Required Qualifications

    • 5+ years experience in B2B product management
    • Success in building and documenting market requirements and product definition
    • Experience collaborating with engineering teams to ensure alignment with product features and timing as they design and implement hardware and software solutions
    • Strong understanding of hardware and software product development life cycle processes
    • Background in passenger car, commercial vehicle, or trucking industry
    • Business degree and/or experience analyzing/developing business models

Extra Credit

    • Experience with “big data”, SaaS, or cloud computing technologies
    • Familiarity with the functional safety process (ISO 26262 or similar)
    • Experience with ADAS systems or autonomous vehicles a plus
    • Proficiency with Jira and Aha!
    • MBA or other relevant post-graduate degree
