Account Executive at Stratoscale
Sunnyvale, CA, US

We are seeking a high-performing Account Executive in the San Francisco Bay Area to join the Stratoscale team. Stratoscale delivers AWS-compatible infrastructure and services that can be deployed in any enterprise data center enabling multi-cloud and hybrid applications.

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for formulating and executing a territory plan and sales strategy that results in consistent revenue and revenue growth. To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstrated success in selling public cloud services or on-premise data center infrastructure. Experience with open source technology and DevOps are highly desirable. 


  • Prospect, identify, qualify and develop a consistent sales funnel
  • Identify and quantify customer business challenges and present Stratoscale solutions using a solutions sales approach
  • Build strong and effective relationships at multiple levels of an organization from C-level executives to Infrastructure decision makers and Line of Business developers
  • Ensure customer success by negotiating balanced agreements, managing successful implementations and expanding usage
  • As part of a dynamic sales team, evaluate and improve sales effectiveness, understand and develop competitive strategies, identify new market and customer opportunities, and evaluate the success and perception of Stratoscale products.
  • Maintain customer and activity information using CRM tools.



  • 8+ years of enterprise software sales experience with a track record of closing complex sales to Fortune 500 companies
  • Domain Experience with Open Source Software, Cloud-based solutions, IaaS, PaaS and DevOps
  • Access to decision makers within the Enterprise IT, particularly in Cloud Architecture/Strategy, DevOps and Application Development areas.
  • Hunter and closer DNA.
  • Experience working for small organizations/start-ups, in aggressive growth mode.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills among a variety of audiences
