Job Description:

The Marketing Communications Manager will play a large role in marketing this platform, with responsibilities over PR, Social Media, Content Production, Field Marketing/Events and Digital Marketing for Europe and throughout the EMEA region. This is a role that requires a high energy, people person who is analytical and detail oriented. As a key member of the marketing team, you will help to continue to drive growth globally with our strategic multi-channel demand generation efforts. You will help to design and successfully execute innovative inbound marketing programs, PR initiatives, and event activities.

We’re looking for an experienced individual who can help produce compelling marketing and sales assets, and influence strategic positioning. You’ll also collaborate on all of the thought leadership content we’re producing to ensure we’re maximizing our positioning and orchestrating outreach to target accounts with content that resonates.

What you’ll be doing:

The right candidate will understand best practices for reaching our desired audience of the world’s leading retailers with the right content in the right context in the EMEA region. The right candidate can demonstrate a proven track record of success with enterprise-level audiences, and possesses the real-world experience and know-how to create and iterate content that our clients and prospects love, and demonstrates thought leadership. This role will also play a key role in distributing content to our target accounts through multi-channel digital marketing and demand generation activities- from creating awareness, to validation, and to influence a the close.

The Marketing Communications Manager for EMEA must be:

  • A self-starter. We are all entrepreneurs at True Fit, it’s a trait that bonds us all. Entrepreneurial energy and attitude is a must.
  • A collaborator. The nature of the role is to collaborate between teams that don’t always operate together, so understanding how to work with others well is important.
  • An outstanding communicator who is comfortable interacting with a diverse group of technical and non-technical people, including senior execs, sales, marketing, development, partners and clients
  • Able to understand technical language and communicate that in market in a relevant way to our target accounts.
  • Journalistic- have the ability to dive deep and ask the right questions in order to get to the most compelling story.
  • Able to be analytical and data-driven.  Experienced using data to tell a story.
  • Driven by impeccable values and integrity.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in PR, Journalism, Communication, or Marketing preferred
  • 6+ years experience, client or agency side.
  • You can write short-form content including website and blog copy, video scripts, display/banner units, blogs, PR materials such as press releases and briefing docs, as well as email, and social content
  • You can write long-form content including press releases, thought leadership interview pieces, case studies, white papers, reports and marketing collateral
  • You’d enjoy working in a fast-paced, fast-growing, startup environment
  • You’re creative but also into the numbers and things like analytics, reporting and proving the ROI of your content
  • You are an early adopter who is passionate about the next big thing
  • You can quickly modify a piece of content or creative for use in multiple channels (you’ve got some basic design skills)
  • You are an outstanding communicator who is comfortable interacting with a diverse group of technical and non-techie people, including senior execs, sales, marketing, development, partners and clients
  • When needed, you can be a full-stack marketer, supporting a variety of product, client and brand marketing projects as well as support and sales teams
  • Some experience with CRM, content management, and marketing automation systems, including Salesforce, Marketo, Hubspot or similar tools/
  • Experience planning and executing successful B2B events and conference participation.
  • You know how to build relationships with social influencers and engage in blogger relations on our behalf
  • You can drive social media engagement: daily tracking and engagement recommendations for our social channels. Help activate thought leadership, messaging, and content distribution through social engagement.
