Lab Coordinator at Inpria

Inpria Corporation, a venture-backed electronic materials startup, has an immediate opening for a Lab Coordinator based in Corvallis, OR. This hands-on position carries responsibilities for supporting Inpria’s inventory management, shipping/receiving, and provides career growth opportunities in an expanding team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work efficiently with limited direction, recognize gaps and fill them independently.



1. Coordinate outbound chemical material shipments worldwide including compliance with relevant DOT / UN regulations

2. Manage and maintain chemical inventory in accordance with regulatory agency and sitespecific requirements

3. Manage chemical purchasing, receiving, and waste processes for all labs from R&D through high volume manufacturing

4. Manage inventory and coordinate purchasing of labware and consumables

5. Supervise lab assistants in completion of lab maintenance and cleaning tasks

6. Active team member of Inpria’s EHS team to ensure compliance with chemical hygiene protocols

7. Primary point of contact for DOT audits, as needed Key



• Minimum Associate’s degree in a technical field, or 4 years’ relevant lab experience

• Demonstrates good chemical hygiene and safe laboratory practices

• Well organized, enthusiastic, flexible, expresses sense of urgency, and eager to learn

• Self-driven and proactive in achieving goals

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

• Preference given to candidates with lab management and/or Dangerous Goods shipping experience
