Marketing Manager at Cloudian

Seeking a highly skilled B2B Marketing Manager to execute marketing programs and support aggressive growth goals. We are looking for a creative B2B marketing professional with cutting-edge and practical knowledge in areas including content creation, the buyer’s journey, customer segmentation, and the voice of the customer.  

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the ensuring all assets across all outbound marketing programs and campaigns are on brand and message. This individual will be responsible for project management of marketing campaigns, engaging with internal stakeholders, creating content, monitoring budget, and providing creative spark and strategic insight.

Cloudian is a start-up headquartered in Silicon Valley, CA and is the leading provider of scale-out object storage. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who works well in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who works well on their own as well as with a team. The position will work out of our San Mateo office and report to the Sr. Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Contribute to revenue goals by successfully executing assigned projects and data-driven marketing initiatives that activate, inspire, convert, and delight
  • Develop and communicate timelines, daily milestones, next steps, and status to team members to ensure on time delivery of all milestones and revise timelines as needed to meet changing requirements
  • Monitor budget throughout project lifecycle and communicate budget status to mktg ops
  • Write/Copy-edit high level content for programs and initiatives including emails, landing pages, etc
  • Cultivate target-specific marketing strategies based on product, segment, and region
  • Follow through on all aspects of each project from start to finish
  • Manage localization projects
  • Work and coordinate cross-functionally with Alliances, OEM, channel, demand gen, events, and regional marketing teams on programs and activities
  • Work closely with global demand gen manager to grow pipeline and drive demand generation through email nurture, syndication, ABM, digital campaigns, paid search, and more
  • Work closely with creative director to manage creative campaigns across multiple touchpoints and channels 
  • Work closely with PR team and agencies on social media outreach, content development, and outreach

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Marcom experience in a high growth, B2B company with at least 2 years as a manager with demonstrated success in driving sales pipeline and meeting KPI’s (let’s see the numbers)
  • Proficiency building and implementing complete B2B marketing plans and strategies
  • Ability to motivate and tactfully push others to ensure deliverables are completed on time and budget
  • Strong writing/copy-editing skills (e.g., compelling/engaging campaign messaging, web copy, email, etc)
  • Strong work ethic and pro-active self-starter, you see a problem and work to find a solution, without being asked, and if you are asked, it only needs to be once, and you will follow it through to completion
  • Absurdly strong attention to detail and rates #1 at follow-up and follow-through
  • Pride yourself on your ability to juggle tasks and not let anything fall through the cracks
  • Passion for data-driven marketing
